Licorice Root

Botanical Name: Glycyrrhiza glabra

The Feels: Sweet, velvety, and deeply nourishing.

Licorice root is the ultimate team player of the plant kingdom. Naturally sweeter than sugar without any of the crash, it has a rich, deep, comforting sweetness that coats a scratchy throat and leaves a lingering warmth on your palate.

On its own, it’s deeply soothing to the gut lining and adrenal system, and it acts as a natural harmonizer that ties complex herbal flavors together.

Safety & Special Considerations: Contains Licorice Root. Not recommended for prolonged use (greater than 4 to 6 consecutive weeks) or in high doses. Do not use if you have hypertension (high blood pressure), kidney disorders, liver disease, or heart conditions. Avoid during pregnancy or nursing. If taking potassium-depleting diuretics, blood pressure medications, or corticosteroids, consult your healthcare provider before use.
